As Many of you know the Original Ariel was deleted from deviantArt because it was deemed "inappropriate" somehow, so Instead of getting all riled up, I decided to draw a new more "appropriate" rendition of the Little Mermaid. The Original (which can be found here [link]) Attempted to show the transformation that our Ariel would take from mermaid to human. Here I show the fulfillment of that transformation where she would use the powers bestowed to her as Queen of the seas, and prepare herself for battle. This is the original idea I had in mind, but chose a more "pretty" approach the first time around. Hopefully this image will help answer a few questions, such as "Why is she taking off her bra?" "Would she really go into battle naked?" and my favorite "What's with barnacles"... though I'd image that some of those questions will more than likely have no real answer other than, "Why not?"

In addition, with this image I'd like to thank all of you who have supported me with this silly little idea, through it you've blessed me with more than 50,000 views, a DD and a whole lot of appreciated encouragement. I love you for it. This is my first of many thank yous! I hope you find it acceptable.
Some of you may want to know what happened to her story... well it was lost in the "storm" so I guess I'll just have to write a new one... Anyway, Enjoy.... and yes, there is a hidden mickey in there, and yes I have to update the cheat sheet.

I'm glad you decided to remake her, because love love love seeing the Princesses in magical superheroine form! Ariel's weapon always seems to be obivious, no?

Whereas other disney princesses I've seen in galleries deviantart are much more provocative and naked ..
What a shame!
Is a wonderful Ariel..
(And it is a real shame that the link from Zazzle does not allow you to see the design well.)
And I did not think that deviantart was a platform so bigoted ... taking into account that a lot of art sexy is published daily .. I think it was sufficient put a simple filter for adults .. not censor your work.Hold on!

I don't see that I've told you this already but anytime you post art that's based on an existing character that has been portrayed as being underage for most of their existence(not entirely sure of the full extent)will be treated as a depiction of an underage character in any shape/form or fashion; which means even if you should "age" the character's depiction to successfully appear to be in their 20's or older, they'll still be seen as a minor because of their portrayal in their original media!

That's what I hear. But I think that that particular piece hardly qualified as anything lewd. But it's in the past, and deviantART casting their opinion. I love the site, and I will not bite any more from the hand that feeds.
